I'm a pricing professional with over a decade of experience across B2B SaaS pricing strategy and economic consulting.
In my most recent role at Zendesk, I led pricing and packaging projects across a $2 billion portfolio — including overhauling our core CX offerings, launching a Contact Center business, fine-tuning our discounting approach, and building a quantitative pricing research practice from the ground up.
Previously, at HubSpot and CarGurus, I led the design and launch of multi-tiered product offerings, introduced new discipline to discounting, and built streamlined pricing processes to help both businesses scale.
Before working in pricing full-time, I was at Analysis Group, an economic, financial, and strategy consulting firm, where I focused on business valuation and quantifying damages in commercial disputes across industries including entertainment, technology, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and financial services.
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Political Economy from Williams College, minoring in Latin American Studies, and have experience working in Portuguese and Spanish in addition to English.
Outside of work, you can find me walking on the beach with my dog Benji, perusing a local record shop, cooking and baking at home, playing guitar or bass, competing in Geoguessr, or traveling the world.

Benji serves as Chief of Staff at Greengage Advisors. A leading expert in steak-holder management, he always keeps one ear up to stay on top of industry trends.

While Sam makes sure your business isn't leaving money on the table, Benji will be the first to know if your business is leaving food on the table, thanks to his years of dedicated nosework training.

Though he's not available by email, you can usually find Benji lying in the sunniest spot on the floor or burrowed under the fluffiest blanket.

Our name

A third-generation story.

Greengage Advisors is named in honor of my grandmother's antique shop. Mary (Signorelli) Green opened the Green Gage Plum in the late 1970s, after the closure of her family's restaurant, Signorelli's, where she had worked alongside her parents, siblings, and eventually two of her children.

Over time, she expanded by building an apartment above the shop and a large barn out back, with the help of my uncle. That barn became a furniture-making workshop where my dad built handmade wooden antique-style furniture, including the unique hanging sign for the shop pictured here.

The Green Gage Plum was a fixture on Route 3A in Cohasset, MA, until its closure in the late 1990s. Later, my dad opened his own antique shop, Patina, which he operated with pride until his death in 2022.

Today, Greengage Advisors is a third-generation extension of the same hardworking spirit, dedication to customer service, and creativity — this time focused on the cutting edge of pricing and monetization strategy.
